New graphics explain the science behind CLINGLIO

The CLINGLIO project aims to advance a novel drug, 2OHOA, for the treatment of glioblastoma towards an initial market entry in Europe. This drug works through a process called melitherapy, which targets the fatty envelopes of cells to modulate tumour growth.

Do you want to know how melitherapy works? We have made an animation video and an infographic with clear illustrations and straightforward explanations of this fascinating science. Check out these resources to discover how the synthetic fatty acid 2OHOA infiltrates tumours, slots into the cell membrane and regulates the proliferation of cancer cells.
